Lisa White

I’m pleased to let you know that I will be participating in an interview with Lisa White, CPDT-KA, certified Professional Dog Trainer, of Barbados, on Sunday, July 26 at 8:00pm (UTC-04). You can tune in the Facebook page, Positive Pet Advice.

This is a small but fast-growing group of animal trainers and owners, currently at 1,940 members. Lisa interviews behaviorists and trainers of dogs, cats, rats, horses, marine animals, aromatherapists, and more!

Lisa will ask questions for the first 45 minutes, and then open up the floor  to members of Positive Pet Advice so they can ask questions. Facebook interviews are much like someone making a post and folks replying back and forth, in real time.

Here are some of the issues we might discuss:

Jack Russell gobbles his dinner after TTouch

This is a Jack Russell at a seminar near Hamburg Germany last year. He was sent to my training by his vet because he had not eaten for a week, but there was nothing measurably wrong with him. By the end of the session he jumped off the stage and gobbled his dinner!

The lightest TTouch possible

This is photo capture from Skype that I would love to talk about in the interview. This was a young dog trainer who read my book and tried TTouch and her dog got up and left. I suggested a Skype session and saw immediately that she was using deep massage and not light TTouch. I simply showed her how to do the lightest TTouch that could move the skin in a small circle and her dog melted in her hands!

For more, join the very well-moderated group, Positive Pet Advice, and visit the announcement page. I’m looking forward to hearing your questions!
