I was moved to write this email to Juel Duke because she and I have been sharing books for many years and she was among the first to sign on for our club. Perhaps it will inspire some of you to dive into the Prophet.

Hi Juel,
I am on the plane from Kona to San Francisco, thinking of you and reading the book you recommended – Talk Like TED by Carmine Gallo.

Thanks for this recommendation. I am reading it for a break from our book club books.

For most of the four and a half hour plane ride I have been glued to my iPad devouring The Secret Lives of Cells (How we Live & Why we Die.) by Lewis Wolpert- one of my new heroes. I would so love to sit in his classroom in London for 6 months of cell immersion.

This book reminds me of The Book of Knowledge:the Keys of Enoch by James Hurtack -a book that somehow fell into my hands when I was home in Carmel in the early 1980’s. It is a channeled book of coded numbers. I read it from cover to cover knowing it did indeed hold a key and that I did not have to understand it, I only had to read it and trust I was getting it intuitively.

Interesting that less than a month after finishing that book the author phoned me “out of the blue” – and many months after that call, a man who worked with Hurtak showed up for a private baptism I had arranged with Jesuit priest, Father Charley Moore, in the Carmel River – for myself and my friends Joan Ocean and Tom Mitchell.

After our baptism the mysterious stranger asked if we would like to join him in a James Hurtack process he called “Journeying through the gate of Orion”.

We did – and it was indeed shape-shifting.

I shared the experience in a letter to Elinor Silverstein last year. One day it would be fun to write a book about such events that have shaped my life.

But enough, just know that I love sharing with you all each month. It’s much more fun than studying alone in the dark.

Blessings and Heart Hugs, Linda

As always, it seems one book bridges to another in this marvelous web of our creation, energy and spirit. If we come together to share and explore, we can all participate actively in expanding our understanding of our place in it.

Won’t you join us?
